Real Madrid Set to Offer James Rodriguez And a Whooping £70 million To Lure Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to the Bernabeu

The Colombian midfielder was a huge hit at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and finished as the top scorer with a succession of beautiful strikes.

But since his move to Real Madrid he has failed to perform and hasn't been fancied under several managers.

He was loaned to Bayern Munich last season and now Zinedine Zidane is keen to use him in a player plus cash deal to bag Arsenal's new captain.

The 30-year-old was signed by Arsene Wenger in 2018 and has scored 40 Premier League goals in just 55 starts, including 10 goals in just 16 appearances this term despite Arsenal misfiring.

Reports suggest he is keen to move on in the summer despite being handed the armband at the Emirates after Granit Xhaka's well-documented indiscretions last month saw him stripped of the honour.

Zidane reportedly wants to add Auba to an attacking trio that could rival Liverpool's. Namely Eden Hazard, who moved in the summer, the Arsenal man and PSG's Kylian Mbappe.

His current forward line, which includes the misfiring Hazard and Luka Jovic aren't doing what's required and the Gabonese striker could plug the gap in the Spanish capital.

Rodriguez, 28, has made nine appearances for Real this season, scoring just one goal and Zidane is keen to offload him.

But Marca report that the player would prefer to stay put and try to win back a place in the Madrid team.

BREAKING: Pierre - Emerick Aubameyang is Having His Medical at Emirates Ahead of Reported £55m Move

BREAKING: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is having his medical at Arsenal ahead of reported £55m move

The Borussia Dortmund hitman has arrived at London yesterday but no announement has been made by both clubs.

Reports everywhere say that Aubameyang is highly expected to join Arsene Wenger's side in a club record deal worth of £55m.

Arsenal suffered from a 3-1 defeat last night at Swansea in a game which Henrikh Mkhitaryan made his debut for the Gunners.

With Aubameyang having a medical at Arsenal, Olivier Giroud would be set to join Chelsea and Michy Batshuayi is heading to Dortmund in a crazy 3-way swap transfers.

Aubameyang In Arsenal's Training Ground at London Colney - Sky Sports

Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has now arrived at Arsenal's training ground at London Colney after his flight from Germany, according to Sky Sports.

A private jet containing the Gabon international arrived at Luton Airport at 2pm on Tuesday afternoon, less than an hour after leaving Dortmund airport.

Arsenal have agreed a deal worth around £60m with Borussia Dortmund for the 28-year-old striker.

While Dortmund have agreed a fee, Sky sources understand they will not let Aubameyang go until they find a replacement.

Olivier Giroud, Michy Batshuayi and Anthony Modeste are among the names being considered by Dortmund, who are looking to secure a signing before the Bundesliga transfer window closes at 5pm on Wednesday.

Aubameyang did not testify as planned at Monday's trial hearing over the attack on the Dortmund team bus in April 2017 because of illness, and was booed by a section of Dortmund fans during last Saturday's 2-2 Bundesliga draw with Freiburg.

A banner in the crowd read: 'No player is bigger than our club'.

Stoger Does Not Understand Aubameyang

Aubameyang has been linked with a January move to Premier League outfit Arsenal, with the club potentially looking to replace Alexis Sanchez, who is likely on his way out.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old was once again suspended by his club for "disciplinary reasons" after he failed to pitch up at an important team meeting ahead of the Wolfsburg clash last weekend.

BVB boss Stoger has been surprised by the star striker's conduct and admits he doesn't know what to make of it.

When asked if he thought Aubameyang would stay at Dortmund, he told Sport Bild: "I assume so."

Stoger was also asked how he felt about the Gabon international, to which he said: "Disappointment is the wrong expression.

"Rather a lack of understanding as I cannot really comprehend his conduct. And I am certainly not the only one."

Aubameyang Agrees Arsenal Personal Terms Ahead of Proposed Transfer ( The Mirror

The Mirror reports that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has agreed personal terms with Arsenal - leaving the ball in Borussia Dortmund's court.

The Gunners want to sign the Gabonese hitman to replace Alexis Sanchez who is set to leave the Emirates in the coming days, with Manchester United his most likely destination.

And Mirror Football understands terms have been agreed with Aubameyang determined to force through the move after he was banished from the team for disciplinary reasons at the weekend.

The forward has told Dortmund there is no coming back from the incident which saw him miss their goalless draw with Wolfsburg on Sunday - his third internal suspension in just over 12 months.

Aubameyang has established himself as one of Europe's premier marksmen over the last few seasons and has been in incredible form in front of goal this term.

He has netted 13 times in just 15 Bundesliga outings adding another eight strikes in all competitions.

Aubameyang Tempting Atletico

28-year-old Dortmond striker Aubameyang has made his intentions clear in the past about wanting to further his career elsewhere as he continues his incredible goalscoring form for the Bundesliga club.

Atletico's transfer ban has officially come to an end and they are currently in the market for an attacker to partner Diego Costa with Antoine Griezmann expected to leave the Spanish capital.

Aubameyang denied claims he has signed a new deal with BVB and suggested an exit may be on the cards.

Everyone knows that Atletico Madrid are looking for players around the world," the Gabon international told Ouest-France.

"I think that [Antoine] Griezmann could leave and many things could happen, everything could happen.

"I have not signed [a contract renewal at Dortmund], that's not true. The market is open, also for me."

Despite Dortmund's struggles this season, Aubameyang has netted 21 times in 23 games across all competitions.

Aubameyang Extends Contract With Borussia Dortmund

Pierre Aubemayang has extended his contract. The Gabonese international has committed himself to another three-and-a-half years at the club, signing a new deal which will keep him till 2021.

However, Zorc has admitted that the agreement doesn't mean Aubameyang will spend the rest of his career at Signal Iduna Park and he expects the marksman to make at least one more move before hanging up his boots for good.

"The contract runs through to '21," Zorc told Sky. "That's still a long way away.

"One day, he will certainly leave Borussia Dortmund - he won't end his career here. He's an extremely important player for us, and we continue to plan with him."

Aubameyang has been in prolific form again this season, scoring 21 goals in 23 appearances across all competitions for Dortmund.
