Hummels Will Be Ready For Dortmund

The 29-year-old was an unused substitute in the 1-0 victories over Eintracht Frankfurt and FC Cologne, but returned to the starting lineup again against Stuttgart on Saturday, a game which Bayern also won 1-0.

The former Dortmund defender came off in the 68th minute of the Stuttgart encounter, but Heynckes is confident he will be available to face his former team on Wednesday.

"Mats Hummels has been dealing with a cold, which is why he didn't participate in the last two games," said Heynckes, as quoted by ESPN.

"After that, it's quite usual to feel a bit of a pinch in your muscles.

"At half-time, I told him he'd have to let me know if it got worse or even dangerous and he did, but Wednesday he'll be good to go. To me, that's a very normal reaction, especially after a cold."
