Napoli captain Marek Hamsik missed today’s training session, as it’s reported he’s struggling with flu-like symptoms.
The Slovakian international was due to present a shirt to the Mann Museum at 11.00 today, as it’s hosting an exhibit on the history of Napoli.
However, Hamsik was a no-show with reports that he’s been struck down by illness.
Now Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, the Partenopei’s official radio station, reports that the captain missed training too as he looks to shake off flu-like symptoms.
That puts him in doubt for the trip to Atalanta at the weekend, though he will have several days to recover.
