Top five Forwards of Arsenal of all time

Here I have gathered top five Arsenal forwards. Many of Arsenal fans don’t even know the last two players. Here you can have an idea who are they and why are they included in this list.
      5. Cliff Bastin (1929-1947)
Bastin was the most prolific scorer until Wright. Bastin used to play as a center forward until Ted Drake who arrived in 1934 and was given Bastin’s role to score goals while Bastin had to drop down to create chances for Drake. The five time league winner scored 178 goals in more than 395 games for Arsenal. He remained the top scorer of Arsenal for almost a half-decade.

4. Charlie George (1968-1975)
Charlie George was not a goal machine, he is not included in this list as the rest of the players. He was different in a way that he scored few but in the dying moments like in the FA Cup final that secured Arsenal first ever double. The Englishman scored 31 goals only in 133 games for the Gunners.

3. Ian Wright (1991-1998)
The 1990’s goal machine Ian Wright was the top scorer of Arsenal before Henry. In seven years of stay, he score more than 170 goals. He lifted one League title and two FA Cups. He was regarded as one of the best striker of 1990’s.
2. Dennis Bergkamp (1995-2006)
The Dutchman played for Ajax, Inter Milan and Arsenal but he played his major part of his career at Arsenal. Appearing for more than 400 times in an Arsenal jersey and scoring more than 100 goals during his 11 years of stay. The retired striker won three Premier League titles and four FA Cups.
1. Thierry Henry (1999-2007)
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry joined Arsenal in 1999 after leaving Juventus. The French forward scored 228 goals for Arsenal in his eight years spell in London that makes him the all time top scorer for the London side. The 36-year-old lifted two BPL titles and three FA Cups titles with Arsenal. He is the best piece of Arsene Wenger's business.
